To pit cook, first dig a hole that’s approximately three times bigger than your cookware. Line the pit with stones and create a fire in the middle. Once the flame has burned rapidly for about one hour, push the warm coals and stones into the middle. Layer your wrapped meals covered skillets in addition to the rocks and coals and put on top. After a few hours, you will have some delicious camp food to enjoy.
